Date From	1920	Village GP Dr John Cole Mearns Taylor making his rounds by bicycle, with his dog in front pannier. Dr Taylor was the GP in Skelmorlie from around 1899 to 1932. From about 1907 he lived at Craigmore Villa.He died on 21st February 1932.
