Dreghorn Smithy

| Date From | | Workers outside the smithy with ploughs and cart wheels awaiting completion. David Cockburn (possibly one of the figures in the photo) ran the smithy, followed by his son, Laurence. Petrol pumps were later installed just in front of where the men are standing.
The walls of the smithy have a number of posters including ones for the Allen Line, School Board Elections and the Ayrshire Miners' Union. |
