Date From

1900

Crowds gather as the oilskin works burn. At different times there were a number of oilskin works in Ardrossan. This building was the property of the Ardrossan Harbour Company but was tenanted to Angus McLean and the Savage brothers and used for the manufacture of oilskins and sailcloth. The fire happened on 23 April 1902.
